Received reinstatement from Attorney and called Jason to offer 1151.14 as down payment and apply the past due amount in the back of the loan. I wrote a proposal to him and he advised will get back to me tomorrow. I called the client and went over the proposal letter and she agreed she only wanted to have her past due amount go back in her loan and have a chance to start over. Jason did advise that last year the clients also had a foreclosure sales date and at the last minute bank offered the client a loan modification at 6.00 interest only payments and applied the past due amount in the back of the loan. He said that they can't reduce the rate this time but will see what they decide on the offer client submitted. I will wait to hear from Jason and get back to client in the morning. She is still working on BK paperwork just in case bank declines her offer. |

Called Pacific Continental Bank several times and left
numerous messages with Kate and her assistant Sam but never received any
returned calls back. Finally lender advised to call the Attorney and deal
directly with him to discuss any options regarding clients file. Spoke to
Jason Smith at 503-228-1111 and he advised that he will order reinstatement
and will send me email regarding what the current amount due on account is
and bank would not put the full past due amount in the back of the loan and
would require client to present a proposal with a good amount for down
payment in order for him to go back to lender and see what they will review
or counter back. He did indicate will require a significant amount if they
are wanting to postpone sales date and move forward.
Spoke to client and advised that would need down payment in order to postpone
sales date and she said that might only have 1,000.00 to put down and nothing
more. She is just going to go and file BK tomorrow morning. I will wait until
I get email from Jason and follow up with client tomorrow regarding status.
Client is requesting refund since we were not able to get bank to modify her
loan and put past due amount in the back of her loan. The property is located
